I used to see the world through rose-colored glasses, convinced of its inherent beauty. Life, of course, has a way of adjusting your vision. The glasses came off, and the shadows seemed to deepen. Growing up, I always stood out. 'Tone it down,' I was told. 'Be like the other boys.' The message was clear: being different brought discomfort to others, and maybe even pain.

But then, something shifted. I rediscovered those rose-colored glasses, but this time, I saw them differently. The 'rosiness' wasn't naivete; it was the vibrant hue of individuality. The world was beautiful precisely because of all the 'different' that made it so captivating.

Today, I embrace my own uniqueness and find joy in helping others do the same. I'm fortunate to work in a profession where I can empower people to let their inner beauty shine through. Because what makes us different is ultimately what makes us beautiful.
